Encore Music Service
We supply sets of vocal and orchestral music to groups and organisations throughout the UK.
We have one of the most comprehensive collections of printed music in the country, with over 2,000 titles in the Vocal Score Collection and more than 800 titles in the Orchestral Collection.
Sets can be borrowed by:
- choirs
- orchestras
- educational establishments
- operatic societies
- individuals for performance
- study purposes
If we don’t have the set you require and you rehearse in Hull we will attempt to obtain it for you from another library via the interlibrary loan system.

Loan periods
Our loan periods are flexible up to a maximum period of 12 months, but formally agreed prior to commencement of the loan.
Renewals may be made where the music is not required by another customer, although if the renewal extends the loan period beyond 12 months, a further charge equal to the current loan fee will apply.

Delivery or collection options
We deliver by courier to an address of your choice. A charge will be made and a signature required. Alternatively, you may collect your music from Hull Central Library.
Payment
An invoice will be sent to you separately when your music is dispatched.
Visiting arrangements
You may visit us at Hull Central Library, by appointment, to browse the vocal collection. Viewing of orchestral sets can be arranged if we are notified in advance of which sets you would like to see.

Encore Music Services is a part-time staffed department and we will reply as soon as possible. Our staff work very hard to get music ready for customers on time, prioritising music that has been pre-booked with plenty of advance notice. To ensure you receive your music in time, please send your requests and completed paperwork as early as possible. It helps us to make sure your music is ready for your group.
